We have structured our gatherings so that we will be able to obey the various commands and principles of the New Testament.
On Sunday mornings, we meet together for corporate worship and the teaching of the Word of God (Acts 2:46, 11:26; 20:20). In these gatherings we encourage freedom and intimacy in worship, and give prominence to the careful and searching exposition of the Word of God. We believe it is essential in understanding the Word of God to see it in its proper context; thus we usually study through various books of the Bible in an expository fashion in order to arrive at a correct understanding of Biblical truth.
We also gather during the week in homes to deepen relationships with one another, share in mutual edification and the use of spiritual gifts, encourage one another, and pray for one another (Acts 2:46; 1 Cor. 12:26; 1 Cor. 14:26; Heb. 10:24-25; 1 Thess. 5:11; James 5:16). We see these gatherings as vital for the spiritual health of every member of the body, and urge all to become an integral part of one of them. For more information, please call us at 408.262.2062.
